Let It Pass Through Like Water đź’§
Not everything needs a reaction
Often, when something happens, we first see it — then reject it.
That’s why the word surrender even exists:
To help us accept what has already happened.
If we break down the process, it looks like this:
See → Reject → Accept → Process → Let Go.
But what if we choose to fully see from the very beginning?
What if we don’t immediately react — not with resistance, nor with attachment?
Just see.
And let it pass.
Like driving down a highway 🚗 — you notice a tree by the roadside.
You acknowledge it and keep moving.
But if you stop the car, point at the tree, complain it shouldn’t be there…
Or if you linger to admire how beautiful and unusual it looks…
Both are valid choices — but both cost time and energy.
That’s okay, too. It’s personal.
But there’s something powerful in this simpler path:
Just see it. Know that you saw it. And move on.
In every moment, we’re offered this choice:
To respond, or not to.
To hold, or to release.
When we stop reacting — neither rejecting nor clinging —
Life can pass through us like a drop of water through light 💧✨
Not everything needs to stay.
Not everything needs to mean something.
Sometimes, it just comes…
And goes.
