🩹 Don’t Peel the Wound Too Soon

I’m sure you remember the strange satisfaction of peeling dry skin off a healing wound 🩹

It looks ready.
It feels harmless.
And for a second — it’s satisfying 😆

But sometimes, peeling it too early reopens the cut.
And the healing has to start all over again.

🕯️ What Healing Really Needs

Emotional wounds aren’t so different.

It’s not about how many weeks, months, or years have passed.
It’s about how deeply the healing has actually settled underneath.

  • You can date again after three months — and still carry an open wound.

  • You can stay single for three years — and still find rawness underneath when triggered.

Healing isn’t something you schedule.
It’s something you allow.

And rushing it — peeling it — doesn’t bring real closure.
It just delays it 🌿

🫶🏻 Give It a Try

When you think you’ve given yourself enough time, give yourself a little more.

When you think you’ve surrendered, see if you can surrender even more.

Healing doesn't hurry just because you're tired of waiting.
It roots itself when you stop trying to dig it up to check the progress 🌱

Let the skin grow.
Let your soul grow.

No need to peel.
No need to prove.
